Fondazione MPS funds social projects in Alta Val d'Elsa
Fondazione MPS is funding two social intervention projects in the Alta Val d'Elsa region for the years 2025 through 2027. These initiatives focus on supporting individuals with severe disabilities and providing educational outreach for adolescents.
The first project supports the “L'Impronta” day center in Colle Val d’Elsa. Funding covers specialized social transport for beneficiaries to help maintain residual skills, prevent isolation, and provide educational support. In 2025, the project involved up to 18 individuals with severe disabilities aged 18 to 64.
The second project supports street education services for youth in Poggibonsi and Colle Val d'Elsa. This service utilizes an active engagement method where educators meet young people in their daily social environments, such as streets and squares. In 2025, the team contacted 73 youths in Poggibonsi and 85 in Colle Val d'Elsa. The program also facilitates collaboration with social services to monitor minors considered at high risk.
