Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia launches 2026-27 school program

The Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia (MUVE) has unveiled its ‘Scuole al museo 2026-27’ program during the MUVE EDU DAY 2026 event held at the Casa di Carlo Goldoni. The initiative offers more than 80 proposals designed to connect students with cultural heritage through various formats, including museum visits, workshops, special paths, creative activities, classroom toolkits, and virtual tours.

Mariacristina Gribaudi, president of the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia, emphasized that the program aims to strengthen the link between education and museums, providing accessible and participatory cultural experiences. The educational activities are designed to reach diverse groups, including youth, families, adults, and individuals with specific needs.

In the previous academic year, the foundation's educational activities reached approximately 1,600 schools and 34,000 students, totaling 45,000 attendees when including teachers and family members. The new program continues to prioritize accessibility and inclusion, featuring specific projects for people with disabilities.
