Fondazione Opera Santa Rita opens new Bottega in Prato

The Fondazione Opera Santa Rita is inaugurating its new Bottega in Piazza San Francesco, Prato, following its relocation from via Luigi Muzzi. The shop serves as a space to showcase artisanal products created by the foundation's members, including miniature monuments, ceramic works, wooden items, and resin crafts.

In addition to selling handmade goods, the shop features a collaboration with Biscottificio Rovai of Pietrasanta, where members assist in applying labels to product packaging. The initiative aims to provide practical experience in customer service, product explanation, and transaction management for the foundation's participants.

A key feature of the new location is its commitment to accessibility. It is the first shop in the historic center to utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (CAA) tools, designed to facilitate participation and communication for all visitors.
