Frecciarossa sponsors Luna Rossa for 2027 America’s Cup

Frecciarossa, the high-speed rail brand of Trenitalia, has announced an official sponsorship of the Luna Rossa sailing team. The partnership was unveiled at the Pietrarsa National Railway Museum in preparation for the 38th America’s Cup, which is scheduled to take place in Naples, Italy, in 2027.

Representatives from Luna Rossa and the Ferrovie dello Stato (FS) Group emphasized that the collaboration celebrates Italian excellence, technology, and innovation. Beyond brand visibility, the partnership aims to support the massive logistical and mobility needs of the event. The FS Group plans to integrate rail services to accommodate the thousands of international visitors expected in Naples during the regattas.

Giuseppe Inchingolo, Corporate Vice General Director of the FS Group, noted that the collaboration serves as a catalyst for regional development and infrastructure, linking the sporting event to broader investments in Southern Italy's transport networks.
