Fondazione Ricci hosts exhibition celebrating 40 years of BargaJazz

The Fondazione Ricci in Barga is hosting a collective exhibition titled "JAZZ! Omaggio a 40 anni di BargaJazz" to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the BargaJazz Festival. Opening on August 16 and running until September 27, the exhibition features painting, graphics, and photography.

The showcase includes works by four artists: Keane, Tony Phillips, Caterina Salvi, and Enrico Stefanelli. The exhibition aims to explore the relationship between the festival and the local community, using various visual languages to interpret the musical event and its historical impact on the territory.

Curator Caterina Salvi noted that the exhibition seeks to create a "visual score" inspired by the expressive freedom of jazz, transforming archives and memories into new artistic interpretations.
