Fondazione Roma and Italian Police sign online minor protection pact
The Department of Public Security and Fondazione Roma signed a protocol on October 14, 2026, aimed at protecting minors from online risks. The agreement focuses on educational projects, information campaigns, and promoting the conscious use of digital technologies among children, adolescents, and their families.
A primary objective of the partnership is to combat the online sexual exploitation of minors and address other forms of digital aggression. The initiative will involve the Postal Police, its territorial branches, and the State Police Assistance Fund. In addition to prevention, the protocol includes providing integrated, long-term psychological support for victims of online abuse.
