Fondazione Tuendelee to Open New Reception House for Families in Melzo, Italy

The non‑profit Fondazione Tuendelee, based in Melzo, has logged more than 37,000 days of accommodation and assisted over 250 mothers and their children in gaining greater autonomy. After a summer of preparation, the foundation announced that on 12 September it will inaugurate a new reception house dedicated to families facing severe hardship. The new facility will provide a safe, supportive environment for those in crisis, continuing the organization’s long‑standing focus on women and children. The opening follows the successful “CuciniAmo Insieme” cooking evenings that have helped build community ties and raise awareness of the foundation’s work.

The foundation highlighted growing collaboration with local volunteers, businesses, and institutions, which it says strengthens its capacity to offer concrete assistance and protect vulnerable families throughout the region.
