Fondi ATM blast damages bank, no injuries reported
During the night, four masked individuals detonated a homemade explosive device at the Banco Popolare ATM on Via Covino in Salto di Fondi, Italy. The blast destroyed the machine and caused damage to the surrounding structure, but no one was injured.
The cash inside the ATM remained untouched and was later recovered from the adjacent security room. Carabinieri units from the Radiomobile of the Compagnia di Terracina responded, secured the area, conducted technical surveys, and are continuing the investigation through the Nucleo Operativo and Radiomobile.
Authorities are gathering evidence to identify the perpetrators, and the case remains under active investigation.
