Fondimpresa Basilicata appoints new leadership and reports 2025 investments

Fondimpresa Basilicata has renewed its leadership following its recent Assembly. Antonio Braia, Vice President of Confindustria Basilicata, has been appointed as the new President. Giuseppe Burdi, Secretary of Organization for CGIL Basilicata, will serve as Vice President.

The new Board of Directors includes representatives from Confindustria Basilicata, CISL Basilicata, and UIL Basilicata. Fondimpresa is Italy’s largest interprofessional fund, managing over 200,000 companies and 5 million workers.

In 2025, the fund financed interventions in Basilicata exceeding 2.5 million euros. These investments focused on professional updates, skill strengthening, and organizational models to meet market changes, specifically targeting environment, competitiveness, innovation, and active labor policies. As of June 2026, the fund includes 2,380 member companies and 27,139 workers in the region.
