Fondo Starter announces new entrepreneurship funding
The Fondo Starter (PR FESR 2021/2027) has announced a new regional funding initiative to support new entrepreneurship. The program provides subsidized loans in the form of unsecured loans with mixed funding for micro and small businesses registered in the Business Register for less than five years.
Financing can cover up to 100% of a project, with amounts ranging from a minimum of 20,000 euros to a maximum of 500,000 euros. Specifically, 75% of the public portion is offered at a zero percent interest rate, which can increase to 80% for female-led enterprises.
Eligible expenses include investments in instrumental real estate, machinery, equipment, hardware, software, patents, licenses, trademarks, trade fairs, technical consultancy, personnel costs, and rental expenses for business premises. The application window is scheduled to open on October 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM and close on November 30, 2026, at 4:00 PM, though it may close earlier if funds are exhausted.
