Fonigualdad launches support program for 1,200 Colombian youth leaders

Fonigualdad, an initiative of the Colombian government, has launched a new call to support 1,200 young leaders across the country's 32 departments. The program targets Colombian citizens aged 18 to 28 who are already leading community projects.

Participants can apply with initiatives focused on three primary pillars: culture (including music, dance, and arts), sports (such as community sports schools), and education (including tutoring and vocational training).

Selected projects will receive up to 15,000,000 Colombian pesos in the form of in-kind support, such as equipment, tools, or materials, rather than cash. This support is provided as a non-refundable grant. Formal registration with the Chamber of Commerce is not required, though applicants must provide certification that their project has been operating for at least six months.
