Foo Fighters release surprise live EP recorded in New York and New Jersey

Foo Fighters have released a surprise live EP titled ‘Are Playing Where??? Vol. II’ via Bandcamp. The release features six tracks recorded during special ‘underplay’ concerts held in April and May at Irving Plaza in New York and the Starland Ballroom in New Jersey.

The EP includes a mix of songs from the band’s latest album, ‘Your Favorite Toy’, alongside career classics such as ‘These Days’, ‘My Hero’, and ‘Aurora’. Dave Grohl dedicated the performance of ‘Aurora’ to the late drummer Taylor Hawkins.

Following the model of the first volume released in October 2025, this ‘pay what you want’ release will see all proceeds donated to local charities in the cities where the recordings took place.
