Foo Fighters set first Peru show, reveal Chile opening act Adelaida
American rock group Foo Fighters will play their inaugural concert in Peru on 3 March 2027 at Lima’s Estadio San Marcos, part of the Take Cover Tour 2027 promoting their 2026 album “Your Favorite Toy”. The show will be opened by Peruvian acts Cometa a la Deriva and singer‑songwriter Lucy Pérez, giving local talent a stage alongside the internationally renowned band.
In Chile, the same tour will stop at the Parque Estadio Nacional, where the opening slot has been confirmed for the Chilean rock group Adelaida. Formed in Valparaíso in 2010, Adelaida blends grunge, shoegaze and atmospheric guitars and has earned national awards such as the Pulsar Rock prize. Their appearance marks the first time the band will support Foo Fighters on a South‑American date.
Both concerts highlight the band’s first forays into the Peruvian market and a high‑profile support act in Chile, underscoring the growing demand for major international rock tours in the region.
