Food brands launch new premium products in Colombia and Dominican Republic

Chocolate Corona, a brand under Grupo Nutresa, and Baileys have announced a deco-branding alliance to launch a new non-alcoholic, granulated Irish cream flavored beverage in Colombia. The product is designed to be versatile, suitable for hot or cold consumption, aiming to expand the use of chocolate products beyond breakfast. The companies have set an ambitious sales target of approximately 426,000 units.

In the Dominican Republic, MercaSID and General Mills have introduced an updated Häagen-Dazs Belgian Chocolate ice cream. The new formulation features 72% cacao to provide a more intense flavor profile. This launch is part of the ongoing commercial partnership between MercaSID and the U.S.-based General Mills to bring premium international brands to the Dominican market.
