Food Development Exhibition 2026 to feature dairy and plant-based ingredients

Several companies have announced their participation in the Food Development Exhibition 2026, scheduled to take place from October 14 to 16 at Tokyo Big Sight.

Nomura Trading Co., Ltd. will exhibit alongside Ballantyne Foods Pty Ltd from Australia and Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk). Their joint showcase will feature various cheese powders, dairy ingredients, and coconut materials.

MP Gokyo Food & Chemical Co., Ltd. will present ‘Tamarind Fiber’ (brand name Tamarind Five), a new plant-derived dietary fiber material sourced from tamarind seeds. The product focuses on xyloglucan, a component reported to support the protective barrier function of the digestive tract mucosa. The company intends to offer this material for use in health foods, beverages, jellies, and desserts.
