Food industry trade shows open in Kenya and Hong Kong

Major food and agriculture trade exhibitions are taking place in Kenya and Hong Kong.

The fourth edition of the Africa Food Show is being held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi. This B2B platform focuses on advancing Africa’s agricultural and food industries, featuring over 200 exhibitors from more than 30 countries, including South Africa, China, and Egypt. The event covers sectors such as food processing, agricultural machinery, and sustainable packaging, aligning with Kenya’s Vision 2030 and the African Union Agenda 2063.

In Hong Kong, the HKTDC Food Expo 2026 has opened at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The five-day event features more than 1,800 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions. The expo has seen significant consumer interest, with shoppers participating in promotional activities and seeking bulk deals on various food products.
