Latin American food and hospitality sectors prepare for major industry events

Various food, hospitality, and agricultural industry events are scheduled across Latin America. In Chile, France will serve as the guest of honor at the 14th Espacio Food & Service exhibition from September 29 to October 1, showcasing high-end products and sustainable solutions.

In Argentina, the FIT 2026 tourism fair will feature the Dominican Republic as its guest country, while Hotelga 2026 will gather over 200 brands in Buenos Aires to discuss HORECA trends. Additionally, a livestock technical meeting organized by Select Debernardi will take place in Bolívar on September 3 and 4.

Other regional highlights include FoodTech Ingredients 2026 in Lima, Peru, focusing on food supply chain innovation, and Restaurant Week 2026 in the Dominican Republic, which will involve over 200 restaurants across five destinations. In Uruguay, the 11th International Dairy Industry Congress will be held in Nueva Helvecia this October, covering automation and market trends.

In Mexico, Abastur 2026 is set to bring together 600 exhibitors and 20,000 buyers in Mexico City to showcase hospitality innovations.
