Fool Night anime to premiere on Netflix this November
The anime adaptation of Kasumi Yasuda’s manga, Fool Night, is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on November 26. The streaming platform will release all episodes of the series simultaneously.
Announced during a panel at Anime NYC, the series marks the first collaboration between animation studios Sunrise and SHAFT. The production features direction by Atsuyuki Yukawa, series composition by Jin Tanaka, and music by Tatsuya Kato. Character designs are handled by Robert Satō.
The story is set in a dystopian future where humanity uses technology to transform people into plants to produce oxygen. The newly released teaser trailer highlights the suspenseful nature of the series, featuring characters such as Toshiro Kamiya, Yomiko Horai, Akira Yatsuka, Saeko Kanaeno, and Jin Hiragishi. The voice cast includes Junya Enoki, Aya Endo, and Kiyomitsu Mizuuchi.
