Korea Football Association faces sexual hospitality allegations

The Korea Football Association (KFA) is facing scrutiny following allegations of providing improper sexual hospitality to foreign officials between March 2011 and March 2012. Reports suggest that KFA funds were used to pay for services at massage parlors and adult entertainment venues for referees and match supervisors during various international qualifying matches.

In response to claims that Chinese Football Association (CFA) personnel were among those receiving such treatment during a referee exchange in early 2012, the CFA conducted an internal investigation. The CFA announced that they found no evidence to support the allegations of improper hospitality.

The Japan Football Association (JFA) also addressed the matter after reports indicated that some Japanese officials were named in the allegations. Following an investigation by external lawyers, the JFA stated that they could not confirm any facts regarding improper hospitality involving Japanese personnel.
