Football clubs Cobán Imperial and Colón announce roster updates
Cobán Imperial has confirmed that the club's board of directors will retain the technical staff led by Martín “Tato” García. Following an evaluation of the team's performance and their elimination against Mixco, President José Romeo Leal noted that physical exhaustion and a lack of squad depth significantly impacted the team during the decisive stages of the tournament.
To prepare for the upcoming season, the club aims to secure at least six high-level signings. Negotiations are reportedly underway for players such as Tomás Casas and Yanderson Pereira, while the continuity of Thales Moreira, Luis de León, and Ángel Cabrera has been confirmed. The club also announced that Monge and Anthony López will not continue with the team.
In Argentina, Colón is working to free up a roster spot to facilitate the signing of offensive midfielder Tomás González from Estudiantes de Río Cuarto. The club's management, led by José Alonso, is considering the departure of Leandro Allende or the loan of a youth player to create the necessary vacancy. Coach Iván Delfino has identified the 27-year-old González as a vital tactical addition due to his previous performance under Delfino's leadership.
