Football clubs hold training matches in Azerbaijan

In Azerbaijan, several football clubs have participated in training and friendly matches. Fenerbahçe secured a 2-0 victory against Turan Tovuz at the Republic Stadium in Baku. Following the match, Fenerbahçe manager İsmail Kartal expressed gratitude for the invitation and emphasized the brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Turkey.

In another match held at the Azersun Arena, Qarabağ FK defeated Zirə 3-1. Qarabağ manager Qurban Qurbanov noted that while the match provided a good test, the frequent international breaks and the high number of matches played by players on national teams present significant challenges for squad preparation and recovery.
