Football clubs Spartak 1911 and Dečić celebrate major anniversaries
Two football clubs in the Balkans are celebrating major historical milestones.
Spartak 1911, based in Debeljača, Serbia, marked its 115th anniversary with a friendly match against Partizan's youth selection. The event, held before a full stadium, featured a cultural program and served to strengthen the long-standing relationship between the two clubs. Partizan's youth team won the match 6-0.
In Tuzi, Montenegro, FK Dečić is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Founded in 1926, the club has survived numerous changes in borders, governments, and social eras. Former player Zejnel Muminović noted that the club was established by local citizens rather than political entities, serving as a multicultural symbol for the community of Tuzi throughout its century of existence.
