Football legends challenge FIFA governance

A group of former football stars, including Emmanuel Petit, Robert Pirès, Mikaël Silvestre, and Juan Sebastián Verón, has issued a formal statement criticizing the current management of FIFA.

The signatories claim the governing body has drifted away from its “fundamental values” and argue that the football community has remained silent for too long. They are calling for structural changes and a mobilization of all football stakeholders, from amateur clubs to major institutions.
