Football players from Münster and Düsseldorf find new clubs after relegation

Following recent relegations, several players from SC Preußen Münster and Fortuna Düsseldorf have transitioned to various levels of professional football.

At SC Paderborn 07, Oliver Batista Meier and Jano ter Horst have joined the squad, with the club paying approximately 400,000 euros for Batista Meier. Meanwhile, former Münster goalkeeper Johannes Schenk has moved to SK Beveren on loan in the Belgian top flight.

Former Fortuna Düsseldorf players have seen diverse outcomes. Zan Celar has become a regular striker for FC Basel after a scoreless stint at Fortuna. Goalkeeper Florian Kastenmeier has joined Feyenoord Rotterdam, positioning himself as a challenger for the starting role. Suso has moved to FC Augsburg, though he has yet to make a Bundesliga appearance. Additionally, Jesper Daland has returned to Viking FK following a loan period.
