Football referee Ivan Bebek marries in Ljubuški

Croatian football referee Ivan Bebek married his partner, Ana, in a ceremony held in Ljubuški, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The wedding was attended by numerous figures from the football community, including former and current referees such as Bruno Marić, Bojan Zobenica, Jakov Titlić, Igor Pajač, and Dario Bel, as well as coach Zoran Zekić.

Fran Jović, a fellow VAR referee, served as the best man. Bebek, who retired from on-field officiating in 2023, has transitioned into a role as a VAR official. His career includes officiating 318 HNL matches, including 25 Dinamo-Hajduk derbies, as well as 13 Champions League and 52 Europa League matches. He was the first Croatian referee to join the UEFA Elite category and has been selected by FIFA to serve as a VAR official for the 2026 World Cup.
