Football tournament victories for NK Jadran Gunjia and Ajax

NK Jadran Gunjia won the 20th anniversary of the Ivan Akalović – Ićo Memorial football tournament held in Donji Rahić. In the final, the visiting team defeated the host, NK Mladi Zadrugar 1965, with a score of 2-0.

Tournament organizer Marijan Starčević noted the event's significance for the local community and the diaspora. Amel Korajac was named the tournament's top scorer.

In youth football, Ajax defeated Dinamo Zagreb 2-1 in the final of the Mladen Ramljak Memorial Tournament held in Zagreb. Ajax took an early lead via an own goal by Karl Zidrum, followed by a goal from Kennynho Kasanwirjo. Dinamo's Kaloyan Bozhkov scored a late consolation goal in stoppage time. Hajduk finished in third place after defeating Benfica on penalties.
