Football training camp updates from the Eagles and Boston College
Football training camps continued with updates from both the Philadelphia Eagles and Boston College.
During the Eagles' eighth day of training camp, running back Saquon Barkley demonstrated agility through various drills, including a red zone touchdown. Offensive lineman Willie Lampkin also showed strong performance in one-on-one drills against defensive tackles. On the defensive side, edge rusher Nolan Smith Jr. faced challenges in blocking matchups.
At Boston College, the football team held its third training camp practice with a heavy emphasis on run plays. Head coach Bill O'Brien focused on offensive line execution, initially expressing dissatisfaction with the unit before seeing improvements in gap creation. Quarterback Mason McKenzie noted that the complexity of the offense is becoming more manageable as practice progresses.
