AS Roma signs Nahuel Molina and pursues Rodrigo Mora
AS Roma has officially completed the signing of Argentine defender Nahuel Molina from Atlético de Madrid. The 28-year-old right-back has signed a four-year contract through 2030, with the transfer fee estimated at approximately 13 million euros fixed plus 6 million in variables. Molina, a 2022 World Cup winner, expressed excitement about joining the club and returning to Serie A.
In parallel, Roma is engaged in complex negotiations to sign 19-year-old Porto talent Rodrigo Mora. While a verbal agreement was previously reported, the deal has faced recent setbacks as Porto has requested revised terms regarding the obligation to purchase. The total value of the Mora deal is estimated at 50 million euros, potentially structured as an initial loan followed by a mandatory purchase tied to specific performance conditions, such as Champions League qualification.
Beyond these primary targets, Roma continues to evaluate options for midfield and wing reinforcements, including interest in Luis Henrique from Inter Milan and discussions regarding players like Cacciamani and Udogie.
