Football transfers: Jurado joins Puebla and Bruma leaves Benfica

Cercle Brugge has announced the temporary departure of 21-year-old Mexican winger Heriberto Jurado. Jurado will join Mexican top-flight club Puebla on loan until the end of the season to gain more regular playing time.

Jurado, who joined Cercle Brugge from Necaxa in February 2025 for 1.65 million euros, has struggled to secure a consistent starting position, appearing only twelve times for the Belgian club. While his contract with Cercle Brugge runs until June 2028, the loan aims to facilitate his professional development in a familiar environment.

In separate football news, Benfica has terminated the contract of 31-year-old Portuguese winger Bruma with immediate effect. The decision follows the player's lack of involvement in coach Marco Silva's plans this season.

Bruma, a former PSV Eindhoven player, is set to join Aris Saloniki in Greece. Benfica had previously acquired him from Braga for 6.5 million euros, and the contract termination serves to alleviate the club's wage budget.
