Football transfers: Zimuangana joins MVV Maastricht and Diakité signs for Zulte Waregem

Several football transfers have been finalized in the Netherlands and Belgium. In the Netherlands, 20-year-old attacker Onesime Zimuangana has moved from Helmond Sport to MVV Maastricht. Zimuangana, a former PSV youth academy player, has signed a two-season contract with an option for an additional year. MVV Maastricht expects the versatile and speedy attacker to provide significant development opportunities.

In Belgium, Zulte Waregem has strengthened its defense by signing Malian international Salim Diakité on loan from Palermo. The 26-year-old right-back joins the Jupiler Pro League side with an option to buy. Diakité brings extensive experience from Italian football, having previously played for clubs such as Ternana and Juve Stabia. Sporting manager Niels Leroy noted that Diakité provides physical presence and attacking potential on the flank.
