Footballer Luděk Mikloško dies at 64 after cancer battle

Former West Ham United goalkeeper Luděk Mikloško has passed away at the age of 64 following a five-year battle with stomach cancer.

Before his death, Mikloško took steps to secure the financial futures of both his wife, Ivana, and his partner, Petra. He gifted his wife a portion of the family estate in Kopřivnice earlier this year. Additionally, he purchased an apartment in Ostrava for Petra, ensuring she would have ownership while maintaining his own right of residence.

Mikloško was a prominent figure in football, particularly known for his legendary tenure at West Ham in London and his connections to Baník Ostrava.
