Footballers José de Jesús Godínez and Christopher Ramírez Return to Play

Former Club Sport Herediano forward José de Jesús Godínez announced his return to competitive football after nearly two years of rehabilitation for a serious injury. He made his comeback as a starter for Tepatitlán in Mexico’s Liga Expansión, later entering as a substitute, and thanked family, doctors and trainers for supporting his recovery.

Guatemalan forward Christopher Ramírez, who had stepped away from the sport following the death of his sister, rejoined Deportivo Guastatoya in the Liga Nacional. He entered the match against Alacranes de Durango in the 54th minute, describing his comeback as driven by faith and a desire to prove he could still compete at the top level.
