Footballers Miguel Borja and Everton Cebolinha pursue new club transfers

Colombian striker Miguel Borja, who previously played for Brazilian clubs Palmeiras and Grêmio, has reached an agreement to join a new club in the Mexican league for the remainder of the 2026 season. Borja is transitioning from the United Arab Emirates to pursue this move.

Meanwhile, Flamengo attacker Everton Cebolinha is facing several international offers as his contract with the Rio de Janeiro club nears its end in December. Having seen reduced playing time in 2026, the 30-year-old has received pre-contract proposals for 2027 from Krasnodar in Russia, Fiorentina in Italy, and the Colorado Rapids in the United States.

Flamengo is reportedly open to negotiating an immediate transfer during the current window, with Krasnodar expressing interest in a deal valued at approximately €5 million. While several Brazilian clubs have shown interest in Cebolinha, his high monthly salary of roughly R$1.5 million has complicated domestic negotiations.
