Footballers Ochoa and Arango face long-term injury setbacks

Several professional footballers are facing significant injury setbacks. In Spain, Málaga CF attacker Aaron Ochoa is expected to return around January or February following surgery on a torn meniscus in his right knee. Medical staff noted that a month was lost due to delays in deciding between conservative treatment and surgery.

In Colombia, Atlético Nacional striker Cristian ‘Chicho’ Arango is expected to miss approximately nine months of action after suffering a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during a match against Millonarios. Arango, whose rights are held by the MLS side San José Earthquakes, will undergo surgery shortly. His absence, combined with the ongoing rehabilitation of Alfredo Morelos, leaves the club facing a shortage of attacking options for the remainder of the season.
