Footballers prepare for farewell and friendly matches in Argentina and Chile

Atlético Tucumán has announced a farewell event for footballer Pulga Rodríguez, titled ‘El último baile del Pulga’. The ceremony will take place this Saturday, September 26, at the Monumental José Fierro stadium. The club described Rodríguez as one of the most important players in its history and a symbol of the institution.

Tickets for the event are currently on sale, with general admission priced at $10,000 and grandstand seating at $20,000. The celebration coincides with the eve of the club’s anniversary.

In Chile, former Deportes Iquique players Eduardo Díaz and Jaime Carreño are set to participate in an international friendly match against Bolognesi de Tacna. The game will be held this Saturday at the Tierra de Campeones stadium with free admission. The event aims to bring together former players and fans to celebrate the history of Iquique football.
