Footballers Van Wolfswinkel and Vancamp reflect on careers after retirement

Former professional footballer Ricky van Wolfswinkel has reflected on his career following his retirement. Despite a previous near-transfer to Feyenoord in 2019, Van Wolfswinkel stated that he would not trade his five seasons at FC Twente for any other transfer. He highlighted the club's successful period and the positive work culture during his 193 appearances for the Enschede-based club.

In Belgium, 27-year-old striker Jorn Vancamp has also announced his retirement from professional football. A former talent at Anderlecht who also played for Beerschot and RAAL La Louvière, Vancamp's career included stints at Roda JC, FC Eindhoven, and Ilves. Following his decision to retire, he expressed interest in pursuing new challenges within the Jupiler Pro League.
