Foothill High School achieves victories in football and volleyball

Foothill High School football secured a 35-20 victory over Livermore, moving to 1-0 in East Bay Athletic League Valley Division play. Following two significant losses, the win places the Falcons in a position to contend for the Valley title and a North Coast Section playoff berth, provided they win their upcoming games against Granada and Dublin.

The Foothill girls’ volleyball team earned its fourth league title in six years by winning the EBAL playoffs. The team defeated San Ramon Valley before beating Carondelet in the final. Key contributors included Kait Vogel, Ilayda Caglar, and Makenzie Bulaon.

In junior varsity water polo, Amador Valley High School secured a second-place finish in the Jet Blast Tournament, including an 18-7 win over Lick Wilmerding.
