Footwear brands expand school shoe collections for upcoming seasons

The children’s footwear market is seeing diverse offerings for the upcoming school seasons. Croatian company Ivančica, through its brand Froddo, is expanding its schoolwear line with a focus on healthy foot development. The collection includes both regular and barefoot options, featuring a zero heel drop, wide toe boxes, and flexible outsoles designed to support natural movement. For the autumn/winter 2026/27 season, the brand is offering over 700 models.

In the retail sector, brands like Clarks and Geox are also positioned for school demand. The Clarks Scala Tap Kid is noted for its leather construction, flexible rubber soles, and child-friendly riptape fastenings. Geox offers sneaker-style options, such as the Riddock, designed to meet school uniform requirements while providing a more athletic profile.
