Força Municipal of Rio opens instructor training vacancies

The Força Municipal of Rio de Janeiro has opened applications for its first Instructor Training Course for its Elite Division. The training will be conducted by professionals from the Federal Highway Police (PRF).

There are 38 vacancies available across eight specialized areas. The largest portion of opportunities, with 13 spots, is dedicated to Armament, Ammunition, and Shooting. Other disciplines include Approach Techniques, Police Defense Techniques, Use of Force, Legal Aspects of Police Procedures, Human Rights, Crisis Management, and Pre-Hospital Care.

The initiative is coordinated by the Special Secretariat for Urban Security (SEGUR) and the Municipal Administration Secretariat (SMA). Participation is exclusive to current members of the Elite Division who have completed the Agent Training Course by March 8 and are in active service. Selection involves a curricular evaluation and a technical-pedagogical interview. Successful candidates will undergo training at the Elite Division Academy located in Irajá.
