Forbes Magpies enter historic finals weekend with five teams in contention

The Forbes Magpies are entering a historic finals weekend with all five of their teams in premiership contention. This marks the first time the club has fielded five teams and the first time every squad has reached the qualifiers, following the launch of the Peter McDonald Premiership women's tackle competition.

On Saturday, the club's league tag, Under 18s, and first grade sides will play at Spooner Oval. The women's tackle and reserve grade teams are scheduled to travel to Dubbo on Sunday. First grade coach Cameron Greenhalgh noted that the squad is fit and focused for their upcoming match against the Mudgee Dragons, despite the absence of Zeke Hartwig due to a fractured rib and punctured lung.
