Forbes Names Top Wealth Advisors Including Raymond James' Craigen Schoen and Leelyn Smith's Drew Grider

Forbes and SHOOK Research released their 2026 Best‑in‑State Wealth Advisors list, recognizing more than 11,000 advisors after reviewing over 52,000 nominations. Craigen Schoen, CFP, senior partner of Schoen Capital Group of Raymond James in Greenville, South Carolina, was named to the list for his three‑decades‑long practice of risk‑aware, tax‑efficient wealth planning alongside his son Parks.

Drew Grider, CFA, President of Leelyn Smith, was ranked No. 26 among advisors in the Chicago suburbs. The firm’s integrated model—combining wealth, tax, and financial planning under one roof—serves more than 900 families across 31 states. The ranking evaluates experience, assets under management, client retention, compliance records and best‑practice standards, but does not consider portfolio performance.
