Forbes Spain ranks top 25 tailor shops in the country

Forbes Spain has released its 2026 ranking of the 25 best tailor shops in the country, highlighting excellence in craftsmanship, pattern precision, and bespoke tailoring.

Among the recognized firms is Sastrería Olego, a family business based in Ponferrada that was founded by Jesús Olego in 1957. Currently led by Alberto Olego, the workshop specializes in classic civilian, military, and ecclesiastical garments, offering modern touches such as personalized interior linings.

Also featured in the list is Sastrería Plácido, located in Oviedo, Asturias. Led by Plácido Iglesias, the second-generation family business began in 1951. Iglesias, a specialist in bespoke tailoring, manages the workshop and has expanded the business's reach by opening an office in Madrid to serve a diverse clientele.
