Forbes Travel Guide announces 2026 aviation and airport awards

The third annual Verified Air Travel Awards 2026 by Forbes Travel Guide have recognized excellence in aviation services and airport facilities. A total of 18 awards were presented, covering categories from first-class cabins to airport dining options.

Delta Air Lines emerged as a major winner, securing six awards, including the title of best US airline and best airline lounge in the United States. The company is also expanding its premium offerings, such as increasing its VIP Porsche chauffeur fleet from 40 to 70 vehicles and enhancing its Delta One cabin with luxury amenities like Missoni pillows and upgraded dining menus.

Emirates was named the best international airline, noted for its luxury lounges and first-class cabins. Singapore Changi Airport was recognized as the top international airport, while New York’s LaGuardia was named the best airport in the United States. Air New Zealand received the Innovation of the Year award for its horizontal sleep solution for economy class passengers.
