TLP-Guinée has formally appealed to the United Nations, the United States, France, and the European Union to monitor the investigation, demanding it be independent, transparent, and credible.

This discovery follows a previous incident in October 2025, where another mass grave was found in the same prefecture. Activists have raised concerns regarding potential extrajudicial executions and forced disappearances, noting that TLP-Guinée has documented dozens of such cases since the military coup in September 2021.
