Force wins Wacken Metal Battle as Grave announces Chile concert

Chile’s metal trio Force captured the top prize at the Wacken Metal Battle during the Wacken Open Air festival in Germany, marking the first time a Chilean act entered and won the competition among 31 international bands. The band, composed of Laureano “Starboy” (vocals, guitar), Hans Beyer (bass) and Camila Sulwacker (drums), will return to Chile for a national tour covering cities such as La Serena, Viña del Mar, Santiago, Concepción and Panguipulli.

Swedish death‑metal pioneers Grave will perform in Chile on 6 October at Teatro Cariola, reuniting their original 1991 lineup that recorded the seminal album *Into the Grave*. Founder Ola Lindgren confirmed the return of Jörgen Sandström, Jens “Jensa” Paulsson and Jonas Torndal for the show, with tickets available through Passline.
