Forchheim launches Annafest 2026 with opening ceremony and parade

The city of Forchheim opened its annual Annafest on Saturday, 25 July 2026, with a musical inauguration at the Rathausplatz at 13:50. Mayor Martina Hebendanz and the 11th beer queen Karolin I welcomed guests, followed by dance performances from local heritage groups and a festive parade that travelled through Bamberger Straße, Adenauerallee and Untere Kellerstraße before ending at the Schützenkeller.
