Ford announces price cuts for 2027 Maverick pickup

Ford has announced significant price reductions for the 2027 Maverick pickup truck, with cuts reaching up to $4,270 on certain models. The price adjustments primarily affect the turbocharged 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine trims.

Under the new pricing structure, the entry-level XL trim will become a hybrid-only option, maintaining its starting price of $28,145. Consequently, the most affordable way to access the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine will be through the XLT All-Wheel Drive trim, which starts at $30,745, representing a $3,600 increase for that specific engine option.

Significant savings are directed toward higher-end trims. The Lobo High trim will see a price drop of $4,270, falling to $37,155. The off-road-focused Tremor trim will also see a reduction of $3,490, bringing its starting MSRP to $37,155. The Lobo Standard trim is expected to drop by $3,775 to a price of $32,155.

These changes come as Ford prepares for a more competitive truck lineup, including the redesigned Ranger and the upcoming Fathom EV. While the EcoBoost engine is being removed from the base XL and Lariat trims, the hybrid variant remains a stable entry point for the model.
