Ford appoints Maria Grazia Davino as Europe sales chief
Ford Motor Company announced that Maria Grazia Davino will become vice‑president of sales for Ford of Europe, effective 1 October 2026. Davino will oversee the European dealer network, retail operations and distribution, reporting directly to Jim Baumbick, president of Ford Europe.
Davino brings more than two decades of automotive experience, most recently serving as regional managing director of BYD Europe and previously holding senior leadership roles at Stellantis and Lamborghini. Her appointment is part of Ford’s European strategy to strengthen the Ford Pro commercial‑vehicle business and to launch five new passenger‑vehicle models by 2029 after a 15 % drop in registrations during the first half of the year.
Based in Cologne, Germany, Davino will lead efforts to improve sales performance across the continent, drawing on her background in managing operations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the Nordic countries.
