Ford appoints Michelle Pérez to lead Hermosillo plant

Ford de México has appointed Michelle Pérez as the new manager of the Hermosillo Stamping and Assembly Plant (HSAP). Pérez succeeds Marcos Madrid, who is retiring after a 30-year career in the automotive industry.

Pérez brings over 12 years of experience within Ford, having previously served as the plant's assistant manager and held leadership roles in final assembly at the Cuautitlán plant. She holds a degree in electromechanical engineering and a master's degree in manufacturing systems from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

The Hermosillo facility is a strategic manufacturing hub for Ford in North America, currently producing models such as the Ford Bronco Sport and the Maverick. Under Pérez's leadership, the plant aims to enhance its global standing in quality and operational performance by optimizing assembly processes through increased speed and precision.
