Ford launches Territory Platinum SUV in Argentina

Ford Argentina unveiled the Territory Platinum, the top‑of‑range version of its best‑selling compact SUV. The model retains the 1.8‑liter EcoBoost engine delivering 185 hp and 320 Nm, paired with a seven‑speed dual‑clutch automatic and front‑wheel drive. It adds a bi‑tone exterior, a new Oceanic Blue paint, black‑accented roof, mirrors and bumper, 19‑inch exclusive alloy wheels, premium 10‑speaker audio, leather‑diamond upholstery, heated and ventilated seats, a panoramic two‑panel roof, digital 12‑inch instrument cluster and a 12.3‑inch SYNC Touch infotainment screen.

The Platinum version is priced at 60,850,000 Argentine pesos. Ford says the Territory now accounts for one in five SUVs sold in the country, holding a 22 % market share and becoming the most successful Chinese‑origin model in Argentina. Product manager Tomás Labourt described the Territory as “the most important success story for Ford in recent years” and highlighted ongoing development of electrified variants such as a plug‑in hybrid Ranger.
